Show Notes

TRIGGER WARNING: Suicidal thoughts

On today’s episode, we’re chatting with Emily Clark,  a 15-year elementary school teacher turned perinatal mental health advocate. Em is the Communication Manager for the Climb Out of the Darkness Program here at PSI, she volunteers as a Climb Leader of Team OKC, and if that’s not enough, she helped create impactful legislation change in her home state of Oklahoma, requiring routine screenings of new & expectant parents! We’ll hear how Postpartum Anxiety & Depression after the birth of her twins has helped her unapologetically open up about her experience and fueled her fight to support parents in the perinatal period.
